Menorca 2017

Recently I took a quick break to my favourite little Spanish island.

I love to travel and explore different places but sometimes I also love to just chill out and shut off the busy world for a bit. I first visited Menorca back in 2015 and instantly fell in love with this charming island. That time, I went exploring every day. This time, I just came for a quick break, to have some peaceful time on my own. My brain instantly went on pause the minute I felt the sun on my back and the wind on my face. I stayed in S’Algar on the southeast coast. It’s a purpose-built resort with a couple of hotels, some apartment complexes and private villas. It’s very quiet and tranquil. During the 4 days I was in Menorca, I lounged around the hotel pool, did a couple of trips to nearby beaches and went shopping in Mahon – bought some sandals from the same shop I bought a pair of shoes 2 years ago! I also recognised some of the bus drivers from my first trip, I went around by bus back then so I pretty much saw some of them on a daily basis.

I loved my short Menorcan break and I know for sure, I will be back.
