Bento: A Fun Way to Eat

Last year I took up several hobbies and bento making was one of those. Making these delicious creations takes quite a lot of cooking and prep time because I usually fill one box with various components. But the good news is it’s not as difficult as it looks. All you need are creativity, some tools (thanks to my lovely friends!), and images you can use as references  (you can find a lot online).

Check out a few of my bento projects:

Panda two ways, plus an onigiri with salmon flakes
Decorate some French toasts with cute picks
Lovely inside and out- my little chickie onigiri with tomato chicken. Lunchbox wrapped in Japanese bento cloth
Use colorful ingredients to make the box beautiful.
Mix store-bought (chicken nuggets) and homemade food.
